Keyboard shortcuts
Collapy has shortcuts for searching, moving between tabs and working on requests. On macOS, use Cmd wherever this page says Ctrl.
You can also see this list in the app under Account → Get Help.
Global
These work anywhere in a workspace.

Editing

| Reveal Variables | Hold Ctrl+E | Hold Cmd+E | While held, shows the resolved value of every {{variable}} in the request. Secret values stay hidden. Needs a selected environment. |
| Find in Body | Ctrl+F | Cmd+F | Searches the response body. On the request's Body tab, press it again to search the request body. |
| Duplicate | Ctrl+D | Cmd+D | Duplicates the open request or collection and opens the copy. Doesn't work while you're typing in a field. |
Send Request, Send & Copy Response and Save need a request that has been created. In a New Request form, click Create first.
Web app
Your browser may keep some shortcuts for itself. Ctrl+Shift+T and Ctrl+Shift+W usually act on browser tabs and windows instead of Collapy tabs. If a shortcut doesn't reach Collapy, run the same action from the command palette.
Command palette
The command palette lets you run actions by name, without remembering their shortcuts.
- Press
Ctrl+P(Cmd+Pon macOS). A box with Type a command… opens. - Type part of a command's name to filter the list.
- Use the arrow keys to pick one and press
Enter, or click it.Esccloses the palette.
Each command shows a short description and, if it has one, its shortcut.
Recent commands
With the search box empty, the commands you ran most recently are listed first, up to eight. The list is remembered on this device.
Available commands

| Close Current Tab | Closes the active tab. |
| Reopen Closed Tab | Reopens the last closed tab. |
| Duplicate | Duplicates the open request or collection. |
| Rename | Renames the open request, collection or environment. |
| Switch Workspace… | Opens Account → Workspaces, where you can pick another workspace. |
| Open Settings | Opens your account pages, starting at My Profile. |
| Sign Out | Signs you out straight away, without asking for confirmation. |
