Environments & variables

An environment is a named set of variables, such as a base URL, an API token or a user ID. Write {{baseUrl}} in a request once, then switch environments to point it at local, staging or production.

• Environments: create environments, set their type, and choose which one is active.
• Variables: use {{name}} in requests, preview resolved values, and override values for one request.
• Secret variables: keep tokens and passwords encrypted and out of sight.
