Organizations
An organization holds your plan (Free, Pro or Ultra), your members and your workspaces. Limits such as seats, workspaces and monthly cloud executions apply per organization. You manage the current organization under Account → My Organization. The account pages are inside the app today and will move to collapy.com later.
Your personal organization
When you sign up, Collapy creates an organization for you called "Your Name's Organization". It's on the Free plan and contains one workspace, Personal. If your account has no name, Collapy uses the part of your email address before the @.
You can invite people to your personal organization like to any other. You can't delete it.
Switch organizations
- Click the organization indicator in the top bar. It shows the current organization's name.
- Point to Switch organization. The list shows every organization you belong to, and the current one has a check mark.
- Pick an organization.
Collapy confirms with "Switched to …". The workspace switcher and the Account pages My Organization, Usage, Members and Workspaces now show the selected organization.
Create an organization
- Click the organization indicator in the top bar and point to Switch organization.
- Click Create organization at the bottom of the list.
- Enter an Organization Name (at least 3 characters) and, if you like, a Description (Optional).
- Click Create.
You become the organization's Owner. A new organization starts on the Free plan with no workspaces and no other members. Collapy switches to it and opens Account → Workspaces so you can create the first workspace.
The My Organization page
Open it with Account → My Organization, or click the organization indicator and choose Organization overview. From top to bottom it shows:

Banners
- Over the limit: a red banner when the organization has more members, workspaces or monthly cloud executions than its plan allows, for example after a downgrade. Existing members and workspaces are kept. You can't add new ones until you're back under the limit.
- Monthly cloud executions: appears at 80% of the monthly limit, and turns red when the limit is reached.
- Stored history: appears at 80% of the stored request history limit. The oldest entries are removed automatically.

Rename an organization
- Open Account → My Organization.
- Click the organization name at the top, type the new name and confirm.
You need to be an Owner or Admin of the organization. Names can be up to 128 characters.
Delete an organization
- Open Account → My Organization.
- Click the ⋮ menu at the top right and choose Delete.
- Confirm with Delete.
Only an Owner can delete an organization, and deleting it can't be undone. You can't delete your personal organization. Collapy refuses with "Your personal organization cannot be deleted".
FAQ
How many organizations can I have?
There's no limit on how many organizations you create or join. Each one has its own plan and its own limits.
Can I move a workspace to a different organization?
No. A workspace stays in the organization it was created in.
Can I change the organization's description later?
No. Only the name can be changed after creation. You can set a description when you create the organization.
